Bio A B O U T ♥ M E | Name: Alphonse Elric From: Fullmetal Alchemist Age: 16 (17 in a few months’ time) Magie or Non-Magie?: Magie Occupation (optional): Student Personality: Alphonse (usually going by ‘Al’) is a sweet, friendly girl, and, although she is sometimes quiet and reclusive, displays friendliness and manners to anyone she meets. She usually shows a fair amount of patience (likely obtained from years of dealing with her brother), but when she’s angry, or greatly upset, she can demonstrate the more irrational and brash side of her personality. She had a fondness for most any kind of living thing (especially cats and her brother), but not all show a liking to her – animals, for one reason or another, often avoid her, and some people seem to find her annoying. She isn’t particularly self-conscious, or worried about what others think. She yearns for human contact, and acceptance, but doesn’t take it too personally when there is something someone doesn’t like about her. The trait most people seem to find annoying is the strong attachment she gets, and her constant, needy nature. Background: Alphonse, having lost both parents at a young age, cannot remember much of them, especially her father. She knows only what little she has been told by her family, and knows his face only through the few photos they have. Their mother, however, left a more lasting mark on her memory, having raised them until Al was around five and half. She held her mother very dear to her, and remembers crying for hours after her death. She sometimes wished, then, that she could have brought her mother back, somehow, but… Al loved their aunt dearly, but in the time they lived with her, she began to spend more time with her brother, while she began to learn magic with him. She still hasn’t forgiven herself for her brother’s ‘accident’, feeling like she could have protected him, somehow. Since then she has taken it upon herself to take care of her older brother, more, and to keep him out of trouble. Al, in her final year of school, is now trying hard for good grades in most of her classes, determined to do well before she graduates, and then decide if she wishes to continue schooling, afterwards… Now that her brother is being threatened with being kicked out, however, her grades have slipped, a little, as she worries over her brother, and what will happen to him. She wants to urge him to hurry and find a place before he gets kicked out, and in trouble…but at the same time she doesn’t want to be separated from Edward, either… | Edward Elric: Her beloved older brother, usually referred to simply as ‘Brother’. Having spent most of her life without her parents, Ed has always been the family member she felt closest to, and she has grown to idolize him, a little, but that wouldn’t stop her from telling him he’s wrong, or putting him in his place if it were called for. He has been her closest friend for a long time, and the only male she’s ever really gotten close to. She’s currently worried about him, fearing what will happen if he does get kicked out, even though he insists that nothing bad is going to happen… Alfons Heiderich: Al feels a certain respect for Alfons, as the woman is responsible, hardworking, caring, intelligent and kind. She was glad to have received advice from her, and counselling, and is beginning to feel that Alfons may be someone she can confide in, as the only ‘woman’ (aside from her aunt) she talks with. She’s glad to see her talking with her brother, as well, happy that Edward seems to be opening up to someone else, even if only a little bit. Misuzu Kamio: A girl that Al has been talking to since the first day of using the application, Misuzu quickly became a close friend of Al’s, and…perhaps something more. Al is confused about what she might feel for the other girl, if anything at all. She assumes she’ll have to wait until they meet in person for her to give a proper assessment of what she thinks – but she does know that she cares for the younger Shana: They met once, and Al is grateful to Shana for talking some sense into her, and sharing her melon bread when Al was hungry~ She never asked for Shana’s name when they met (the thought slipping her mind when she had to rush to finish her errands), but she pieced it together to figure out who the gruff girl from town was. |     |
